Many people hit TFW to meet their icons, see the stars or hobnob with the newsmakers. Hidden behind the big names though are numerous independent film makers, lots of them local folks, just looking for their opportunity to scare you silly.

One such person is Houston film maker, Kerry Beyer.

Kerry, in addition to being an actor, a photographer and the co-founder of the Houston Splatterfest film festival, is the director of the 80’s retro-style horror/comedy “Spirit Camp”. He was gracious enough to take a few minutes out of his busy TFW schedule to chat with us about his latest film, “Code of Evil”, the importance of blood color and the dialing down of boobage.
